Hi
First of all when I scanned my harddrive for the first time after installing avast 4.5 pro, the program found a trojan 32- file on one of my drives. Since I was not able to repair it i figured I`d delete it instead and so I did.
Then, When I tried to scan again I got an error message which goes like
this : “UNKNOWN ERROR”
“Scan completed with error”
“87 = the parameter is incorrect”
Any suggestions? Help?

hmm… it seems to be a problem with win sp2 only(which I have…)

Don’t give up on the thread btw, I’m sure you’ll find a solution. Tenacious doesn’t get close to describing users here!
I’m sure you’ll have a solution soon.
It looks like you have the RC of SP2, make sure you install SP2rtm. That should solve the problem.
