Unsubscribe button missing

Hi,

My 60 days free trial is expiring in 3 days and the unsubscribe button is not available.
How can I cancel it?

Thanks

Where are you trying to find/use the Unsubscribe button ?

Did you complete a payment mandate when you started this 60 day trial ?

Hi David,

I have this email from notifications:
"Your trial period with Avast is coming to an end, and your paid subscription will begin soon. You don’t have to do anything — we’ll automatically charge your payment method on January 18, 2025 to ensure you enjoy uninterrupted coverage. And don’t worry, you won’t lose any days under your free trial.

You can now relax, knowing you’ll continue to benefit from our world-class services, which you’ve enjoyed during your trial.

If you don’t wish to keep your subscription, then all you have to do is cancel your trial before the January 18, 2025. You can do that by selecting the “Manage Subscriptions” option below. It’s easy and hassle-free."

On my subscriptions there is no cancel/unsubscribe button.

I can’t see what you can see. The link I gave has many options one of them being “Do I need to cancel my Avast free trial?”

I’ve added the payment card details before starting the free trial, so it is necessary to cancel the free trial.
For that I need to unsubscribe as per link provided. Under my subscriptions there is no Unsubscribe button, only Renew and save 50% and Renew now. There is also this message for every subscription: “This subscription will not automatically renew”.

Waiting so close to the end date is putting you under unnecessary pressure.

But you say you did, however, the text “This subscription will not automatically renew” is technically correct as it would appear you didn’t create an auto ‘renew’ payment mandate. But the payment for the first year, would be taken at the end of the trial.

If you didn’t give your payment details when undergoing the trial then the above quote should be correct. If you haven’t made a payment mandate then you shouldn’t need to cancel it. But the

But this does -

What if I can’t cancel a subscription via my Avast Account? does.

The only other thing, based on the same original link is at the bottom.

Avast Customer Care

hi,

During my free trial the unsubscribe was not available, but now it is.
Thank you all for your help!

When I signed up for a subscription I accidentally made a typo when typing my email, i could not correct it and it somehow verified the email address and it charged me after the free trail. I’m now still trying to cancel the subscription as I do not have the order ID and only a product key, I have failed numerus times to even make contact with support. I cant get a refund because 30 days have elapsed and I just want to stop the auto renew as my bank details are attached to the subscription with the typo email address.
