I`m glad to announce that new beta version is ready - 20.5.2413 (build 20.5.5400).

What was fixed
Rescue Disk is now working also with UEFI
Fixed issue when computer shutdown was sometimes blocked if avast service was unable to stop

Thank you, this beta update no longer presents the errors of the eternal shutdown. Tested on my Intel Atom N270 with Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x86.

Hi,

Well i put the beta version to see if the problem shutdown is gone.

It seems to be ok.

But still have since the two last version May and June a conflict with windows installer.

since 3 week i noticed that all avaliable update couldn’t be installed still error message.

Worth when i wanted to uninstall something error with windows installer.

So i erase with clear avast the last version on safe mode.

And try the beta no pb with shutdown, but still the conflict with windows installer, no update are possible and no " donwgrade of windows component are possible still message " windows installer stop working ".

I’m ready to send files dump or what are need to some tk avast to help me and maybe help everybody who have this bad issue.
