Suddenly my auto updates stopped and I could not restart. No action, Fix-it,
Reinstalled AVAST twice and still unable to get it to work.
try remove with this from safe mode, reboot and reinstall http://www.avast.com/en-eu/uninstall-utility
What errors are you getting, also if you try to do a manual update what error do you get ?
What is your operating system and firewall ?
Does it allow avast.setup internet access ?
- If it does delete the entry for it and do a manual update, this should force the firewall to ask permission again.
I have the same problem. Since I got connected to my local wlan, instead of my parent’s house, avast won’t update automatically, only manually. I dont know if the problem has anything to do with my local net or if it’s just a coincidence. I didnt try removing and installing avast again. Could anybody help me please? Thanks.
