MyDefrag v4.1.2

MyDefrag is a disk defragmenter and optimizer (a maintenance utility to make your harddisk faster) for Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, 2008, and for X64. It is freeware, no time limit, fully functional, no advertisements. Fast, low overhead, with many optimization strategies, can handle floppies, USB disks, memory sticks, and anything else that looks like a disk to Windows. Included are a set of easy to use scripts for endusers, a scripting engine for demanding users, a screensaver, and a combined Windows plus commandline version that can be scheduled by the Windows task scheduler or for use from administrator scripts.

Firefox 3.0.13: (all languages, direct download)

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Don’t use ‘look for updates’ in 3.0.12 if you will avoid 3.5.2. :slight_smile:

HL

Thank you for the direct download link for those who need it, hlecter. Help > Check for Updates offered me Fx 3.0.13 in the configuration I use for regression testing. I suggest trying that selection first.

Whats wrong with v3.5.2 ??

Nothing, I hope…

Should it be?

HL

Not all the extensions developers could update them to 3.5 (yet). So, some users, prefer to keep the old stream.

Hi Alan B;

I based my advice on this:

https://developer.mozilla.org/devnews/index.php/2009/07/21/firefox-3-0-12-security-and-stability-release-now-available/

From the write-up:

Note: Firefox 3.0.x will be maintained with security and stability updates until January, 2010. All users are encouraged to upgrade to Firefox 3.5 by downloading it from firefox.com or by selecting “Check for Updates…” from the Help menu when using Firefox 3.0.12.

Thanks for the link, hlecter. I think you pasted the wrong one though. Here’s the current one.
https://developer.mozilla.org/devnews/index.php/2009/08/03/firefox-3-5-2-and-3-0-13-security-updates-now-available-for-download/

Hi Alan B;
Your link contains this:

Note: All Firefox 3.0.x users are encouraged to upgrade to Firefox 3.5.2 by downloading it from http://firefox.com/ or by selecting “Check for Updates…” from the Help menu.

That should say the same.

PuraRa is a simple tool that does a simple job: it removes files from your computer that other mainstream cleaning programs tend to oversee. Some of our targets can simply be removed to create some valuable space while others are removed in an attempt to repair certain problems because they will simply recreate themselves:

Thank you for the info, Pete. The suite has been available for a while, but the following utilities in it were updated August 5.
http://blogs.technet.com/Sysinternals/

ZoomIt v4.0: In addition to minor bug fixes, this update to ZoomIt, a screen magnification and annotation tool, has significant improvements to the live zoom functionality that’s available on Vista and Windows 7. For example, it removes the shadow mouse, it uses a better mouse tracking algorithm and on Windows 7 it adds zoom-in and zoom-out transitions.

ProcDump v1.2: This ProcDump now automatically generates 32-bit dumps for 32-bit processes on 64-bit Windows for easier debugging.
