It’s not the panaceia… as you can expect, anything is suspicious, even clean files.
Any autorun.inf, StartPortableApps.exe, for instance.
It promises more than it gives.
Sorry Tech, I don’t quite follow what you mean about the Autorun.inf and startportableapps.exe
That these files are being “detected” as suspicious. In my case, they’re completely clean.
Some software just alert “too” much to show they’re doing their job.
I wish a had a better heuristic detection. After all, is it infected or not? Say suspicious is a bad policy imho.

Well I suppose it is a .exe file on a memory stick, and autorun.inf calls for it to be run, so I can sorta see why…I don’t think I’d like that program :

By the way, Tech, during installation of PC Wizard 2009, it will want you to install ASK toolbar as it comes pre-checked. One must uncheck ASK toolbar before installation. I highly recommend unchecking the installation of ASK toolbar. I dislike it when these things are prechecked. Anyway, PC Wizard itself is a very good program for your computer’s information.
