Updating Avast version causes user account corruption ?

There’s a notification which alerted my dad to a version update of Avast.

After the computer restarted, there is a sudden ‘Other User’ account in the Windows login page. Previously, the computer has no login page as the user account has no passwords.

Any way to solve this issue is appreciated :frowning:

What is the other user account name ? Is it Avast software ?

The name of the account is “other user” .

It appears to be solved. After I rebooted the computer 30 mins later, It booted up normally.
