Updating issues

Hello,

So, Avast! as of a week ago has had major issues updating. The host is unreachable. Is this known? I know I don’t have a virus, I can post logs if you wish though… I’ve also tried updating through the UI and not just the Auto-Update…

Avast PV: 2014,9.0.2006
VPS: 131030-0. Host Unreachable, but 20 files were downloaded.
Is there an explantion?

Hi there are two options :

  1. Download and install the full VPS package … Does that cure it http://www.avast.com/download-update
  2. Try a repair … Go to control panel > programs and features/add remove
    Select Avast and then select repair

Repair was successful. Still getting the error. And when I try to manually download the VPS update it fails after about 10 minutes.

Edit: 1 time issue I guess. The last download just worked off of the link you gave me. Thanks essex
