upgrade from 3.x to 4.x license issue

Hello,

We had a 3.x instalation which stopped working and we upgraded it to 4.0.3.
Unfortunately after the upgrade the new version no longer accepts the existing license file:

Opening a support ticket for the business version doesnt allow me to select the Linux version so I opened one on “Other Software” but I expect it will take some time…
Reissuing the license file using the original activation code generates and invalid trial license.
The download button in the avast store is not working and the Activation Code shows “n/a”.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

the license is valid according to the avast store till 2033 renewal

Hi, contacting support is the way the go. They should be able to fix the license.
