As the title suggests, i need help on my PC.
I want to bypass the blue screen when i upgrade my PC.
In fact is the CPU i am changing, and i want to use the PC without re-installing Windows.
Is it possible?
What should i download to make this possible?

I would concentrate on updating:
Windows XP sp2 <== SP3 has been available for more than 2 years and is no longer supported http://support.microsoft.com/gp/lifean31
Avast 4.8 <== avast V5 has been available for more than 8 months
First of all, I don’t trust Windows Xp SP3.
Second of all, will i lose my license if i upgrade Avast?
Third, i wanted help on bypassing the Blue Screen Of Death when the CPU is changed.
So i make my windows boot up on my windows with the new Cpu.
You will need to Upgrade your License - Meaning, you don’t need to buy it again, but just Upgrade the 4.8 License to 5.0 License.

You will not lose your license by upgrading Avast.

I also agree with YoKenny in upgrading SP2 to SP3 is important since this presents a huge security hole in your machine. You should also be checking your MS Updates as well.
