A bunch of Russian users published complaints that the latest database update blocks Russian social service VKontakte. The issue starts if they try to enter the site through HTTP (http://vk.com/) but if they use HTTPS (https://vk.com/) everything works fine.
Could you please check the issue and give the answer what has happened?
Thank you. It was just a flood of complaints. I didn’t even imagine how furious could be people without access to VKontakte or other social services.

I couldn’t believe some of the posts either, its like taking away a drug from an addict according to some comments.
