Hi again
I contacted you a while ago about this but could not tell you exactly what site I opened when it popped up. It happened now again and it was as I opened the Spam folder in my yahoo mailbox. I NEVER open any Spam in there but just go there to make sure no mail went there by mistake. I then simply empty the Spam folder. But before I could even do that I got this notice. No other site was open at the time. Should I run MBAM etc?

Sorry for the delay in replying. Family crises. My laptop has been very slow since I last contacted you. Can you please take a look at the attached files for me to see if there is a virus that is not being picked up by MBAM and Avast?

Sounds like a bad junk e-mail, have you now emptied that folder ?

CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

FF Plugin HKCU: @lightspark.github.com/Lightspark;version=1 -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Lightspark 0.5.3-git\nplightsparkplugin.dll No File EmptyTemp: CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

THEN

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

[*]Close all open programs and internet browsers.
[*]Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”
[*]Confirm each time with Ok.
[*]Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
[*]Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
[*]You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

I empty the junk mail folder often during the day. Here is the Fix log file. Running the Adware Cleaner now

Thanks that is good to know - but - Dang! Then why is my computer still so slooooooooooow? I mean it is really really slow :frowning: And I can’t remember the procedure to clean up FRST etc LOL! Will have to let you know about the alerts tomorrow or whenever I get them okay?

Mmmm ok it seems to be getting faster as I check and open new things. Just need help to do the cleanup now.
