Using Avast password with Firefox

HI,
Firefox keeps putting up a banner telling me that the Avast password add on is slowing down Firefox. Because the banner itself is annoying and I like the speed of the latest version of Firefox I have disabled the Avast password add on. I hope that someone from Avast reads this and can do something so that I can use the Avast password add on with Firefox in the future.
Yes, I know I can use Google, but I prefer Firefox.
