Good news everyone!
New stable version 19.3.2369 has just been released.
What’s NEW:
We’ve set our VPN free - SecureLine VPN is no longer attached to your antivirus. It’s now a separate product
A safer UEFI - Anti-rootkit scan now protects your UEFI (unified extensible firmware interface)
What we FIXED:
When installing Avast Ultimate, all products in the bundle will be installed in one go
Fixed our boot-time scan
Made sure our UI loads correctly (“white UI” problem)
Fixed a bug for our users in Russia where Passive Mode sometimes turned on for no reason
How to install:
Update from your existing Avast version via Settings → Update → Update program
Or you can download and install from here

Thanks for the new release
So you guys plan to change naming schema to Microsoft ones? >> (Mar 2018)
Then it should be 2019
Hi,
Thanks for the new release. Installed over the beta and rebooted. So far so good. I am on Windows 10 insider release 18353 64bit.
On smartscan, I noticed there is no new interface where we see the files being scanned. I am sure it was in the beta of the same version. Am I missing something?

Hi, smart-scan works for me. Try another reboot.
Thanks Asyn for prompt reply but your screenshot still says beta while mine does not anymore.

Ignore it, I’m always on beta channel.
Thanks for the update, but there is a veritable amount of issues.
Firstly, even after 2 restarts and a repair, my Smart Scan UI is still old.
Secondly, when right click scanning a file/folder, the progress pop-up in the lower right corner doesn’t appear.
Tertiary, the program doesn’t show when it was last updated, and I recall it was supposed to do it after 19.2. (See attached)

Ermm, your screenshot clearly shows the release date (March 11).
It does, but it was supposed to show when the update was installed too, yes?

Hi Bob, it might help to reboot several times - if not, something for the devs to answer…

Avast Free did the update to 19.3.2369 from within the GUI … so far all good
The Sharku complained about Smart Scan. My question is directed at him.

OK, but your screenshots show the old smart-scan. :-\
Yes, the same is true for me. My UI looks old too.
??? What’s old about it or, what should the new one look like ???
