Very very difficult to cancel a subscription

I have been unable to contact Avast on the 0800 number given on the support pages. I no longer need the product but Avast keeps trying to take the subscription payment from my bank. ADAP1604659781 is my account number

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

You should be able to do this in your Avast Account in the program you have installed or through the support site.

Hi David, Yes you probably are right if you can get into your account. My original subscription was set up with an email address I no longer use. I tried opening a fresh account but to transfer over the old subscription was not allowed! I was going round in circles. I have had to ask my bank to block all payments to Avast, but they did say it could still slip through! A quick call to support would have saved all this hasssle!

Unfortunately I don’t believe you can directly contact Avast outside of the support site or community forum.

I don’t think that should matter, if you know the old email address.
