Few minutes ago i ran a scan on my other PC and the result was
12031(If I remember right) paths with the error-The system cannot find the path specified.Normally there were 200-300 but now I have the feeling all the folders and files weren’t scanned.
So now i ran a boot time scan and I’m waiting for the result. Why avast can’t scan them.I think it’s working properly. After the boot time scan I will run Bitdefender 8 free and ad-aware and spybot but there really is something wrong about that.
Here is some more information from the boot time scan
Note:eicar test is detected-avast! is working.
File C:\hiberfil.sys error 0xC0000022
Isn’t a problem of System Restore files? If you disable System Restore, do these files disappear?
The hibernation file could not be scanned but it won’t be infected if your computer was hibernated clean.
There were so many paths. On drive C: and D: in windows folder in program files. In my D: drive .Everywhere! :o Not only system restore .I will run scandisc now.Don’t know what this could be ??? ??? ???
Neron… this is very strange… scandisk is the way but you could have trouble.
Did you install Restore Console as a boot option in XP? If so, you can run chkdsk from there.
No errors found.ON-ACCESS scener works perfectly.
???
Really?
Are you sure you’re not using other low-level application that blocks the files (defragmentation, other resident program…)?
