Hey, I don’t know where to put this so I’m putting it here. More of a Technical Question. Recently I recorded a video to proof something to a friend. The video is nearly 50 minutes and is in Full HD (1080p). The only problem is though, the file size is just over 90GB’s. I know I can compress it, but how do I make my Monitor T X 720? This would be handed for future recording with Friends.
The problem is the video size is about 1.5x the size it should be. The cause is it being recorded in 1080p. standard is 720p for Youtube. How do I change the resolution so I don’t have massive files like this??
My first thoughts were there must be many such converters out there already, so I just cobbled this search string and there are many hits.
Convert 1080p video to 720p video
So here is an ironic youtube video of how to do it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Yde2vxVLA8, but there are many other hits on this search string. That one is meant to be a free web converter, so your start point 90GB may be a killer, you would have to have an off-line converter.
