Virus alarm in my own Pascal program

Hi

Is this a false virus alert, or does FPC v.2.6.2 contain a virus?

I wrote a pascal program that I compiled with FPC v.2.6.2, downloaded yesterday as fpc-2.6.2.i386-win32.exe from www.freepascal.org . The moment I compile my pascal source code (which of course does NOT contain a virus) in FPC I get the Avast message that it contains “Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]” (see attached screen shot), and it is moved to the chest. And if I recover it from the virus chest and run it the same thing happens again. But if I ask Avast to scan the file OR every file in the C:\Programs\FPC directory no virus is found.

I am looking forward to hear from you.

Please submit the file to avast for analyzing.

Susp = suspicious .... so not malware yet

you can send the file to avast lab from chest

how to use the chest: http://www.avast.com/en-eu/faq.php?article=AVKB21

Thank you for the info.
I uploaded the file via that form, and explained the problem, but I have not yet gotten any answer, and it’s been more than a week! What’s going on?
