Virus attached to e-mail

I’m a novice user.

Some Canadian site is sending people their site advertisment to everyone on my contact list. I don’t send the messages, some just keep coming back as undeliverable and have the following site as the sender?

My e-mail address is sabre_44d@yahoo.com

The site is: http://sabre_44d.vipblog.name/2007/04/my-painkillers-do.html=0A=0A=0A

That is what comes back in my messages that don’t get through.
I can’t find this in my computer and Canadian authorities tell me they cannot help me.
Is there someone with expert knowledge who can give me a step by step description on how to remove this crap so my contacts don’t keep getting viagra messages?

Cheers, Gary.

Check your computer for Malware with

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.46 http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
after install click update so you have latest database before scan
click the remove selected button to quarantine anything found
you may post the scan log here

Welcome to the forums, sabre_44d

Pondus has given you some good advice.

I also offer this advice :
You should remove your email address unless you would like even more spam.
The reason is that this is a public forum and as such is often visited by spambots that harvest (or collect) email addresses from publicly available forums.

By the way, have you ever visited the site at this address? hXXp://www.rxdiscountdrugs.com/
That is where the second link you provided leads. The site is titled Canadian Neighbor Pharmacy.
If you have an account there, it may be that site has been hacked and your address harvested for email spam.

It might be titled Canadian Neighbour Pharmacy but it is Registered in Russia, so the title is a switcheroo to mislead users into thinking they are at a site in their country. Though this seems to have missed yours by a country mile.

@ sabre_44d: you’re sort of asking for it >>> what do you think happens when you post your email address on a public web forum?

I’ve got the same problem
My computer keep sending a e-mail similar the the one bellow to all my contacts

How are you getting on these days?
how are you ?
Just received my iphone 3gs 32gb from this website www.diamond.80.hk△. much cheaper than others and genuine . if you would like to get one,you can check it out,
all the best for 2010
Regards.
All my best wishes for the future!

when i saw that, i first changed my e-mail password and personal information, but since the e-mail keep incoming, this is probably a trojan or a virus on my computer

I then downloaded avast and ran a complete check but it didn’t find the program. I also ran a check with malwarebytes w/o any good results.

Edit: right now, windows live mail keep opening every 5-10 minutes even after i close the program.

I think this is unrelated you appear to have a hidden/undetected trojan spambot on your system.

If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it and report the findings (it should product a log file).

Don’t worry about reported tracking cookies they are a minor issue and not one of security, allow SAS to deal with them though. - See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie.
Also available a portable version of SAS, http://www.superantispyware.com/portablescanner.html, no installation required.
