Ok !! when avast finds the eicar Virus and I click Delete,The Virus remains on the drive and if I rescan it again Avast finds it again How come the Virus isn’t deleted as it should be.

What about error messages - are there any? 
What happens if you select ‘Move to Chest’ instead of delete?
And, what OS are you using?

Yes…this happens sometimes with Avast 4.
Use Move to Chest, then open the Chest and delete.
This should work.
I had the same problem with Win32 (Happy99).
