Help!
A virus was found but I can’t perform action “Move to chest” because it says there is not enough space on the disk! I have 160 GB of free space! Don’t know what to do now to get rid of this.

Program Settings (right click the avast ‘a’ icon), Chest and increase the Maximum file size to send to cater for the size of the file detected.
What is the infected file name, where was it found e.g. (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx) ?
Check the avast! Log Viewer (C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashLogV.exe), Warning section, this contains information on all avast detections. right click the avast ‘a’ icon
Hi DavidR,
No matter what I do I can’t move to chest. I have put unlimited in and still not.
Please go to http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=40131.15 for all the info.

I bet you didn’t change the option I said, not the chest size because that really isn’t what is stopping you, but the Maximum size of file size to be sent option, which I also pointed out in your other topic.
The Unlimited relates to the chest size and not the Maximum size of file size to be sent option that I said to adjust.
nanajana, it would be good if we have this information…
It is memory.dmp from his other topic. a pain leaping between topics.
Thanks David… I’ve really tried, but two pages of posts was too much to verify.
I think the user will get nothing sending this file to Chest, it’s a memory dump…
He/She can delete it directly…
Hello,
So should I just tell avast to delete this rather than move to chest?
File name; C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
Malware name: Win32:VB-gen2 [Wrm]
Malware type: Virus/Worm
Thanks,
nanajana
