Virus scan messenger 4.2.0 ?

On my android phone I get a notification that messenger 4.2.0 I was scanned I’m not sure what that is ?

I’d look in installed programs to see if anything other than programs you installed are there, and that only normal usual programs that came with your phone exist.

I think most Android will have a Messenger function/app installed, more so if your phone is a Galaxy (google based) phone. Mine is google branded under the skin, Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
