Hi!!
I have 3 virus in my computer and i don´t know how to remove it.
the virus are:
win32:troja-gen{other}
bridge.dll c:\windows\downloaded Program Files
win32:Istbar-I[trj]
ISTactivex.dll c:\windows\downloaded Program Files
win32:trojano-169[trj]
jao.dll c:\windows\downloaded Program Files
Please help, I’m novice on this and I don´t have a clue. I don´t if I can just delete the files o what.
I downloaded hijacthis but i don´t know how to use it.
PLEASE HELP.

See if a boottime scan can take care of them.
start Avast > Menu > schedule boot scan

Again
I did what you told me, i restarted the computer and the avast started I left the computer and when i came back the window was close and show the normal window to log in a Windows XP.
I dont know what this mean.
I checked the avast chest and the files are still there, i dont kown if because i moved it the avast couldnt find it when i restarted the computer.
Can I just delete the files? o what can i do?
Why too many computer are infected with this virus, do you know why?

Yes you can delete them from the chest.

Main reasons: 1] People don't setup their security properly. 2] People don't read first before they install something. 3] People think a application their neighbour is also using is safe and free from malware.

Hi Eddie!
I turned on today my computer and avast detected a new virus
win32:Banbra-K[trj] in c\archivos de programa\IBE asy+Beasy.exe

I entered to the menu on avast y selected the option rebootscan o something like this, started to check the computer but didnt detect the virus.Before I ran the spyboot and erased some files. why the avast didnt detect? Do I have the virus or not? and if I have it What can I do for remove ?
All the virus trojan can be just delete no matter where they are or not?

It looks like Spybot already took care of it. Something that isn’t there can’t be detected by Avast :wink:

And your writing is fine. It doesn’t have to be perfect as long as we can understand it :smiley:
