I’m a new member to the Avast anti virus forum and I would like to know what happens with virus updates? What do I do to ensure that all the latest viruses are in the Avast list?

You must configure to receive automatic updates from Avast!
Start avast antivirus, right click the skin and choose Settings.
Go to Updates (Basic) and (Advanced) and configure how you want them.
If you have more doubts, just let us know 
Right click the ‘a’ blue icon on your system tray (next to the clock).
Choose Start avast! antivirus
