Nowadays, besides the false positives, people, avast is being the first of detecting some viruses. I don’t know about this one in particular, but it’s happening both extremes: false positives and first to detect. Good and bad.
Actually I think this one was right
I disabled the Web-filter and downloaded the install package.
When installing it warned about this software beeing free only because a web-behaviour collecting software would be installed on your system (this is the one avast! warned about).
But since I can remove spyware later I installed anyway, and guess what…
avast! on-access scanner detected the spyware install package and gave me a change to kill it, but then the rest of the installer continued as normal and the main program (the audio software) was installed OK
