I just built this computer. All was fine until I installed Outlook. I copied all of my email addresses from my old computer and put them on my new one. Now each time I send an email, I get a “Virus Detected” warning. I just click continue and it goes out anyway. How can I stop this from happening?
AVAST 4.8 Home Edition.

Are you sure this is a Virus Detected or a Suspicious email alert ?
What is the full text or a screenshot of the alert would be helpful.
Proablem solved, it wasn’t “virus detected”, it was telling me that the subject of the message was supicious. Most of me emails are to family and friends and usually contain no subject message. I guess I’ll have to put a subject in each time. Thanks for the response.
No problem, glad I could help.
If in my email program (OE6) I don’t enter a subject it has a whinge about not having a subject.
