VirusBurster Trojan in Startup

Hello all, I am new to the community and like most the reason I am here is that I have a Trojan on my system that seems to be more spyware and hyjacking software than an actual Virus but hey they are all trouble no mater what label you slap on them.
The name of the trojan is called Virusburster and flashes a small icon in toolbar near my time. And every minute or so a bubble will appear and tell me Critical System error and ask me to click on the bubble for a fix. Which when clicked on takes me to this Spyware removal website. I have tried Avast to remove it, I have tried Spywarekiller Pro to remove I am now running SpyHunter v. 2.7. And it finished and now needs me to pay 40 dollars to delete the 76 possible threats it has found that none of the officially legal programs I have paid for did not find any of. Anyway please let me know how to get rid of this problem thank you.

Stop right there!

Do not pay out any money!!

You are the victim of a scam.

I’m going to give you some links to some free programs.

I want you to run all these programs- if you do so, your problem will be gone without you paying a penny.

Download these two tools, but don’t run yet:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover.php

http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix_En.php

Download any of these scanners you don’t already have, install and update, but don’t run yet:

AVG Anti-Spyware: (Requires Win2000/XP)

http://www.ewido.net/en/

Spybot Search & Destroy:

http://www.safer-networking.org/

a-Squared:

http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/

Ad-Aware:

Go offline (pull the plug on your internet connection) and run RogueRemover and SmitFraudFix followed by the other scanners.

When you finish, make sure your Firewall is up before you come on line again.

Please post a HijackThis! log if you still have any problems:

Thanks boss I am getting the links you have here now, I will be writing you back in a bit to let you know how this goes.

Well it all worked I downloaded the AVG and the other two you asked me to. Unplugged from the internet and ran a full scan it took almost an 1.5 hours heh but it is all clear. Back to World of Warcraft for me. I thank you for your help Frank! May your holiday season be excellent! ;D

No problem. Thanks!

The Sunbelt blog has screenshots of scam sites where you can pick up such infections. You might want to have a look at these and avoid any such sites in the future.

You should also check that Sun Java is up to date if you have it on your computer.

Check in Control Panel>Add/Remove and uninstall any older versions as these are a security vulnerability.
