Greetings. I have the Avast free version. I like it just fine; please no sales pitches for the paid ones. I have only one gigantic complaint.
The settings on my computer (running XP and I’m not switching to 7 anytime soon) are “high contrast black”. Something about AVAST changed, because last time I had to renew my registration, I could see all the fields. Now, those fields (and the information surrounding what goes in them) is invisible. This happens sometimes, with the high contrast settings. But it’s very very hard for me to see in the normal settings. I need Avast to work with Windows settings. It’s not as if I’m the only user who’s vision impaired. Come on, folks. Don’t forget us. Tech support requires registration, which I can’t see to do, so it’s a giant circle of uselessness. How do I get through to Avast and ask them to fix this please?
Yes, the skin did change not only for the forum (which you can change) but for the online registration. For someone who is visually impaired this can be difficult, as I have mentioned to the devs. You might try emailing: avast@advantage77.com (only if you live in the USA). Otherwise contact Avast at http://www.avast.com/index and explain to them that you are visually impaired/disabled and ask for help.
Let me know if you have any additional questions as I will certainly help you. Thank you.

You might want to modify your signature it only 50 pixels high (about three lines) if larger you don’t see all your signature and end up with a scroll bar to be able to view it.
Yes the Babylon font size was a little smaller to start with and signature and quoted fonts smaller still, so no problem. I also don’t believe there was ant signature hight restriction, so it wouldn’t apply in Babylon even if the font were the same as the new default theme.
I’m trying to persevere with the new theme as it is slowly getting better with the latest batch of tweaks we asked for.
