I notice you’re logged on as I type ths. Could you give some attention to this thread
Thanks mauserme for redirecting - trying to caught attention - Alwil to a thread of mine. I understand that all avast users will be thank if avast becomes better.
But still no response ???
No… just silence… it’s embarrassing…
Whilst the subject might be embarrassing ignoring it won’t make it go away. I don’t doubt that Vlk and the team are busy but perhaps it is time for a change in priority.
When you posted this Keith, the list may have showed Vlk was on-line but that could be out of date as it is updated every 15 minutes.
I checked with the lab guys (I’m not one of those) and they told me the thing is “done” (and out) already…
So I don’t know… :-\
I appreciate you don’t personally know, I don’t know what is meant by “the thing is done” if that relates to a new submission method or just the particular sample submission in the first post link.
If is about that link, this is only one of several that have had submissions made weeks and months ago with no response or inclusion in the VPS updates. All we are hoping for is some way of prompting on long overdue submissions, if that means a few of the regular contributors/evangelists, etc. could have some means of contacting the Labs team with a link to that submission.
As the last thing anyone wants is long drawn out topics with complaints about a lack of action on submissions, it doesn’t do anyone any good.
Yes, the last VPS update did it. Thanks lab team.
Thanks for the response, Vlk, and thanks to the lab for getting this added.
But as you know, this is a symptom of a larger problem that remains unsolved.
Thanks mauserme… you had a direct collaboration on getting this solved…
I’m afraid you’re fully right…
