VMware .vmem has MBR:Cidox-C [Rtk]

Hy,
on my host pc ( win7 pro ) I am using VMware. When a virtual machine ( win 7 pro ) is on, avast on the host pc finds MBR:Cidox-C [Rtk] in the memory dumpfile of the virtual machine: machine_Name.vmem

Is it possible, that avast free finds root-kits in virtual machines ?

If yes, how to get rid of it?

Thanks!

Please report it as (possibly) false positive:

Thank you Eddy for the fast answer.

I tried to attach the .mem file, but it is too big ( 1GB ).
I will try to make it smaller and if still the allert comes up I will send it.

Thanks

just for info:

I reduced the memory for the virtual machine to minimum that I could send the .vmem file.
But then there was no warning anymore.

And I hope no root kit

I don’t think it is dangerous.
It seems to me a false positive.
