It says I have 68 days trial (look at the picture above), is that voided by the earlier 30 day trial? I went Interstate for a few months if you’re wondering.
I really don’t mind paying for a licence, I just want to know that this is the actual issue, I don’t want to pay just to have the same problem?
It’s not giving me any messages at all indicating trial time is up, and even mentions it will start charging me in 2 months time.
Seems confusing, but if you’re sure “buy licence” is the answer, i shall proceed …
I’ve reported this to Avast and hope they’ll chime in and clarify.
I’m a long time user of the product but don’t work for Avast.

Great stuff Bob, appreciate your input
Ok, further:
I am logged in
I just tried clicking on “BUY NOW” and it goes to a screen, thinks for a moment, and just returns to the BUY NOW screen again. It seems to be considering that I am paid up?
If I de-activate my current licence, will that allow me to purchase without a 60 day trial, and how will that prevent the current credit card purchase from activating in 60 days time?
The connection on the earlier trial was actually brilliant for those 30 days, best I have ever had, I have been here for 15 years now, and am very familiar with the VPN struggles associated and accept them.
Now could someone from Avast answer my actual questions please that have been up for 24 hours after paying? I would like to proceed with the service, thanks.
You have to realize that we are Avast users like you, trying to help other Avast users.
Bob has forwarded this but it is weekend, so maybe we will have to wait a little.
I feel it’s an issue at my software end, the moment I touch the red ‘X’ slider to turn on the VPN, it instantly flicks back off and opens the ‘need a licence’ splash screen.
It’s not trying to find a server at all.
The trial earlier this year was brilliant, best VPN I have ever used, what bad timing that I went interstate for a bit otherwise I would have continued it then.
