I’m am new to this forum, but i have used avast for more than 10 years. I set up the PC with Windows 10 and installed avast again (Version 12.2.2276), but the VPS can’t update and therefore i don’t have any virusdefinitioin installed.
Does this happen because of the problems avast has since yesterday or could it be a different problem?
Is it possible to download a virusdefinition for avast and install in manually?

If avast is installed you do have the vps.
Perhaps not the latest, but you do have one as it is part of the installation.

Do you mean by solving the problem avast’s problem, that my program version is from 1970? Because i have no idea what i can do to be safe again. Avast tells me, that i am not secured, because the background service doesn’t start.

That is not possible since avast was founded in 1988.
I guess, I’ll have to wait, until avast’s problem is fixed.
