VRDB vs. System Restore

Hi, all. Just wondering if it’s really necessary to use the VRDB feature if System Restore is working properly. In the event of an infection, wouldn’t System Restore be able to “repair” a file as well as VRDB would? Thanks.

Hi Baz,
System Restore will restore the whole OS to a previous state, while VRDB will just clean/restore the infected file.

No contest, they do totally different things.

Yeah, that was ridiculous. Sorry. Thanks for the quick replies.
