I am running avast free version 2014.9.0.2016 (def: 140426-0) on Win 7 Pro and have experienced problems with printing to an Epson WF-5720 network printer.
A few pages (3-4) will print successfully on a job, then an “Error - Sent To Printer” message appears in the queue.
If I turn the Web shield off then the print jobs are completed successfully. Turning Web shield on again and the print jobs will error.
I had this same problem a few months ago however it ‘disappeared’ after I had disabled/re-enabled avast and windows firewall at the suggestion of Epson.
Does anyone have suggestions for solving this problem.
