Works here on FF.
Here with Opera 12.17 and EICAR https files, only .com is blocked by FileShield. Other files i can download to my computer. Http files are all blocked right after i click them.

EDIT: With Firefox 33 and IE11 all eicar https test files are blocked by WebShield. Opera 12.17 allows downloading of .txt and.zip files. COM file is blocked by FileShield, when trying to save to computer.
In short, https scan doesn’t work with Opera 12.17. Not sure with newer Opera versions.
Hi, I can confirm that we don’t scan HTTPS for Opera browser at the moment. We haven’t found an easy way how to inject our root certificate into all Opera versions. However, since Opera has switched to Chromium, we plan to test chromium based Opera’s soon and enable https scanning for these versions only.
Ok. Since i only use Firefox for Facebook and Youtube (Opera 12.17 has problems with these sites), i think i can disable HTTPS scanning? Or is there any point to disable it? I think mainly speed and functionality benefits. Perhaps, if https scanning is not supported with Opera, it can cause more problems than good.
OK, I will wait for news about this…
I wasn’t using Firefox, but Cyberfox (64bit windows optimized Firefox fork)…
