Many thanks , Guido .
Test it at VT and post the link. → https://www.virustotal.com/
Many thanks
I have tested the file AKKORD.exe at VT and the result is for Avast this : Win32:Malware-gen .
The link is : https://www.virustotal.com/it/file/2f5663c580edb18837c1ca71d8a3c7ca94616146eea967ee26419eb9c3596097/analysis/ .
Excuse me if I make an error .
No error. ;D
Avast saved you from making a serious mistake. VT showed 28/46 virus scanners reported your file as malicious, with some reporting it as a Trojan. Trust me, you do not want a Trojan on your system.
Use WOT to go only to safe, reputable sites, and you are much less likely to become a victim of this sort of unethical and illegal activity.
See my signature below for a direct link to WOT. Safe(r) surfing!
Also, use VT to check a downloaded file first, now that you know about it.
Many thanks .
And so I can’t use this WebCam ?
Depends.
Did you buy this webcam and did the software come with it? Was it bought at a reputable retail store or was it bought online?
If bought online, then likely not from a reputable source, so no. Not unless you want to consider reinstalling Windows to recover your computer. Not to mention all personal files and data would be at risk of theft if you do go ahead and install it anyway, despite what avast! and other virus scanners are saying. Think identity theft and worse.
If Virus Total says a file tested as 2 out of 46 positive for malware, then it can be a possible false positive. Not so with 28/46, that file tested is most certainly a file that will compromise your system and you would likely regret your decision to install anyway. Besides, with a webcam, the bad guys can now see you as the bad software would certainly be phoning home all the time.
I had buy this webcam with his software in a reputable retail store .
I have resolved the problem so :
- Install the software without Avast ;
- Open the interface of Avast ;
- Clic on setup in up right position ;
- Clic on global esclution ;
- Write : C:\Programms\Vimicro\VmicroUSBPCCamera(VC0342)\vmcam\bin* ;
And now is all OK .
Many thanks to all for help . By .
