WebRep-Firefox 9?

There is nothing!!!

WebRep is working fine with Firefox 9 here.

Do you have the latest Avast installed?

Does WebRep show as installed for Firefox in the AvastUI?

Does WebRep show in the Firefox Add-ons tab | Extensions? If it does, you may have to enable it there?

As always, new updates of firefox disrupt addons.

install the addon compatibility reporter from here.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/?src=search

Avast Webrep will work after you install this addon.

FF9 IS compatible with Avast WebRep 6.0.1367

That’s confirmed. :-*

+1

When will avast users get webrep support Opera?

Absolutely unnecessary as far as Avast WebRep is concerned. ::slight_smile:

+1 (again)

When Opera has more than a 100 users, sorry couldn’t help myself.

Obviously avast will introduce this to other browsers, but the work involved and priority in doing the work would be based on browser share. That would also depend on other priorities at avast! like the current push on avast7 that has a hoped for release on Q1 of 2012.

Hi to everyone,
The problem can be because Waterfox 64bit and Firefox Nightly 64bit are installed, also there is nothing, at this Windows 7-64bit. And there is no option in add-ons, not at all. At my other Windows 7-32bit is working fine. Can it be about 64bit system problem as avast is 32bit software?

Thank you, and God bless you all…

Whilst avast is a 32bit application, it has the 64bit drivers, etc. when installed on a 64bit OS.

So I don’t think that is it but ‘Gopher John’ asked some questions in his first reply that weren’t answered, notably these.

Does WebRep show as installed for Firefox in the AvastUI? Does WebRep show in the Firefox Add-ons tab | Extensions? If it does, you may have to enable it there?

There is a possibility that waterfox 64bit browser may be the issue, even though it uses the same firefox stuff, I think it significantly different not to be considered Firefox and as such the web rep isn’t compatible. only with IE, Firefox and Chrome currently, so that may be it.

That is were first question in the quote from Gopher John above is very relevant.

Hi

Thanks for your explanation DavidR (and rest of people) and as I told in the previous post there is nothing in Extension file (add-ons) of Firefox but in the latest avastUI show as installed so it is about waterfox I think.

Happy holidays…

You’re welcome.

On those questions, were Gopher John asked if the WebRep add-on appeared in firefox, that should be does it appear in the Waterfox add-ons ?
If not that would be why it doesn’t show on search results or pages.

Ha ha. You’re real joker aren’t you.

Personally, I don’t need webrep plugin. I have tried it, but I get no benefit from using it. Thank god webrep is optional and I use common sense when browsing the web. Unfortunately, some people don’t but that is completely different story ;D I don’t need webrep for Opera, but was just curious is it coming to Opera. And I got my answer.
