Good morning. I have just jumped ship from AVG (several years, now uninstalled and removed) to Avast, so have little experience of the utility. I am using XP with IE8, also the avast details are as follows: 7.0.1466/121020.
I like to minimise the space taken at the top, so find it frustrating that the webrep plugin takes a whole line oj its own, and as far as I can see can’t be moved.
Am I right or is there a way of shifting it?

It has to be on it’s own bar as this is how Microsoft has designed IE and avast cant do anything about it, your left with the choice of right clicking the free space at the top of your browser and unchecking Webrep or you can actually drag the webrep icon onto the same bar as the menu if you unlock it first.

Hopefully Microsoft will loosen the reigns on this!?!
