Webrep

Fresh install Avast6: all ok.
After some time webrep report for all site " This site has no rating" for all sites;
i have nade a repair but not work… (Windows 7 32bit, IE8).
Help please…

It’s not on your end (it’s a server side issue, to be fixed soon).

Does WebRep block ratings to bad sites, or is it just a voting mechanism based on user and virus lab inputs.

Al…

WepRep was working before. Now it’s not.

I like the added webrep feature and i like the avast tool bar too

Guys, it’s working now. Sorry for instability ;-(

Same here. :frowning:

still not working for me

Mine is not working too… :frowning:

We’re working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well, this shows one thing: it is necessary to have something like an “Actual Avast WebRep Status Indicator” on the Avast Web-Site that shows the server-status of the WebRep OR some kind of server status indicator in the WebRep plugin itself.
This is not a stand-alone feature, so one should be able in case it is not working to determine if it’s a server or a client problem.

mine seems to be ok now.

Sorry to bring this up, but can you clarify if the web rep tool is based on user and/or virus lab inputs.
Thanks,
CCU
