WebShield URL blocking: passion.com

I am trying to add a working filter to the URL block for http://passion.com and its variants by using .passion.com/ but without much success. Only www.passion.com* seems to work for the main page but not its variants unless I add that specific one like http://passion.com/go/page/gallery_landing_page?filter_erotic=0&pid=g790897-pct
which popped up when using uploading.com to download a file.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I’m only following the same method I used to block adultfriendfinder.com and its variants, which has proved successful. Any ideas? Is it actually possible for a domain (like passion.com) to prevent URL blocking in Avast somehow?

if you try passion.com should do the trick ???

Indeed it worked! Thanks Tednelly.
Look at my earlier thread, if you will? http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=21705.0
See how .sitename.com/ was advised basically as the catch-all filter. Do you think it ought to be sitename.com instead?

logically greenhatch working on the previous example sitename.com should give a greater exclusion result than .sitename.com/ if you wish to exclude the entire site.
I’m sure that if I am wrong I will be corrected by a forum member with greater knowledge on this matter

Okay tednelly, thanks again.

no worries matey hope I was of some small help

*.something requires the dot to present before the domain - so, it includes aa.someting and bb.something, but not just something, or http://something, becuase there’s no dot in front of the mask.
So, *something is better, it covers all of them.

thanks igor for the well put clear explanation
