website

Hey everyone,

Well I have been helping a friend build a website so I thought I would post a link here so everyone could take a look.

www.zigs-stuff.org

Please tell me all what you think

Looks good.

I didn’t have much time to look around but it looks good.

I like the clock function, but there are times when that is the only item so it leaves a blank column below it squashing the remainder of the page, depends on how big the browser window and resolution are of course.

It looks very nice

Thanks everyone.

Yes that is designed to be sort of like a toolbar, if you register when you login there are more things there instead of just the clock.

Nice idea with a tool bar, I don’t know if you can do it to drop the clock and other toolbar items down as you scroll down so there wouldn’t be any expanse of white space.

Nice idea, but I don’t know how lol

The W3C Markup Validation Service can give you some clues about code errors that may cause problems for some visitors:

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zigs-stuff.org%2F&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0

Looks fine in Firefox on Ubuntu, though.

Check out this site, http://noscript.net/ our well known firefox extension, they use something to move the three buttons on the right down as you scroll down the page. I don’t know if you can check out the page source for some idea how they did it.

Interesting, I will look into it, thanks David
