weird computer question

Hi there guys.

I have a question concerning my moms new compaq…Well I did usemsconfig to clear up the startup speed but since then with every restart I get a dos screen which asks me which I want to go into. Compaq recovery or Microsoft XP Home and everytime I press that but when I reboot I still get the same question.

Anyway to fix this?

Did you play with the BIOS settings?

no I didnt :frowning:

it just randomly started doing this after I used msconfig

Stuck key? Try jiggling the F8 key & other F keys to make sure they’re not stuck.

What did you change with msconfig?
