Well it is running a bit slow, all kind of crapware

Hi, I wanted to make sure that this computer is clean. Runs a little bit slow at times. There are two MBytes reports because I ran the first scan BEFORE I read the information here on how to prepare a proper post for evaluation. She had a ton of PUPs that I subsequently quarantined. Thanks for any and all your help in advance.

Step 1

Uninstall following software:

Amazon 1Button App
neurowise

Step 2

  • Open Notepad (click Start button → type notepad.exe → press Enter)
  • Copy text from code block below and paste it into Notepad
CHR HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google: Restriction <==== ATTENTION
C:\Program Files (x86)\Amazon
C:\Program Files (x86)\globalUpdate
C:\Program Files (x86)\Developerts LLC
EmptyTemp:
  • Go to FileSave As
  • Make sure that UTF-8 is selected as Encoding (left side of Save button)
  • Save it as fixlist.txt on Desktop
  • Open again FRST and click on button Fix
  • Wait until FRST finishes
  • fixlog.txt should be genereted and opened. Attach it your post and wait further instructions.

Thanks Drake,

I forgot to post pictures of the two messages that pop-up regarding DLLs on start-up and annoying “Fast Access” face recognition log-in needs to go. as well. I will work on your recommendation immediately and post.

Have you followed instructions I gave you?

Here you go.

What is status of your system now?

Sorry for the delay. it is my girlfriend’s computer. I was messaging her about the progress. Works better. I am still concerned about all of those PUPs that Malwarebytes uncovered. Should I delete them off of the system? Windows updated automatically in the middle, restarted. Have second DLL pop up. First DLL is GONE.

Please address those PUPs and DLL, if you can. If you think it is clean then I will run SFC Scannow for the DLLs and please recommend a website for DLL repair, again if you can.

As for MBAM, you should delete those PUPs in a first place. Face recognition and other Dell software cann be unisntalled if you don’t need them.

DLLs? Any recommendation.
