Does anyone have any info on this (werc208.tmp.hdmp) or can tell me where to look on this site for it? I’m having no luck.

Isn’t this avast! forum? BTW there’s no website with this file… it’s heap dump file… Please Answer these questions:
- why you need that?
- is this file on your computer?
- is this file detected by avast?

Yes was found on a co-workers hard disk when scanning on my machine with avast pro . Her machine would not even boot. I moved this to the chest and the machine is behaving normally again. I submitted it to the avast virus lab as well. Got the name from what was put in the virus chest.
I guess I need to know what it is so I can make sure none of the other systems on the network can get this if that is even possible. It found it in a appcrash_msaccess.exe which makes me wonder if it is a virus at all.
Just looking for more info on what the heck it is.

According to the name (werc208.tmp.hdmp), it’s just a memory dump from a crash.
So, its presence can hardly affect the machine in any way - it’s completely useless.
