what does remote connection detected really mean?

Comodo safe shopping couldn’t be loaded because it said it detected a remote connection to this computer and that my screen may be watched. Is everything ok here?

Just downloaded malwarebytes rootkit, it said this:—pic. Is that supposed to happen?

 https://forums.malwarebytes.com/

Not exactly what i was asking pondus. Forget about the malwarebytes question. But, comodo secure shopping said “a remote connection has been established and my screen maybe watched”- that doesn’t sound good. It wouldn’t turn on until i terminate that connection. So, there’s definitely something there. And i want to find out how, since i have tried the traditional guide to select “Do not allow remote connection” setting(it was already selected).

It said it is strongly recommended that that remote connection is terminated but i don’t know how. I haven’t tried remote connecting to anyone over the internet, not even near it, just youtube and stuffs.

Malwarebytes or avira wouldn’t turn up anything. What “tool” scans should i post for this one?

malwarebytes and avira questions are best answered in there forums, same with Comodo

If you want a check here you find how to get help in sticky post at top in this section

The two logs from FRST are the important ones

Initial logs.

Malware expert is notified, it may take hours before he is online

Also this has been happening for some time now. If not “augustus” it would be “guest”. And i wouldn’t be able to do anything if i don’t completely wipe my digital traces with avira privacy pal once or twice, and if that don’t work, turn on vpn just to get access to the forum.

Does this just happen on one IP address ?
If so you could be caught up in a ban on a spammers IP.

Only completely wiping with privacy pal used to work but since today i had to use vpn once.

It isn’t so much the actions that you are taking to get back online. If we know the IP it can be checked to see why that IP is blocked. Without that no one can check.

How should i cheCK my IP then?!!

Your firewall may be able to do that.
Try this link https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup it is an IP address lookup, it first displays your IP. But you can use it to get information on an IP, ISP, locations, etc.

If you don’t want to display your IP in public, just use the PM function to send it to me and I will try to find out about it.

I hope i am giving my Ip address to the right person

Howdy augustus,

Take this up with CloudFlare for your Nevada to Amsterdam serverhub connection.
Netcraft Risk Rating = 1 red out of 10. Nameserver: -anirban.ns.cloudflare.com

I don’t comprehend!

I mean to say that this is not avast related but you should take this up with the firm
that is responsible for your internet connection and that is your service hosting provider.
They should come up with all the answers.

The IP address that you gave me isn’t on any ban list that I could find and is in the same range of the one you used to post this. Neither of which are blocked.

You need to replicate the error image you posted in Reply #8, and from that find what IP address was used and send that to me.

I don’t see anything malicious in logs.
Rename FRST to uninstall and run it. FRST should remove itself and files it created.
