What happens to virus vault after uninstall?

HI Everyone,
I was just wondering, what happens to the virus chest if I were to uninstall AVAST, would the chest containing the files be gone or would there be a way to get them back incase you ever needed to restore any of the files?

Just backup entire <avast_folder>\DATA\Chest

So when you install avast! again, just copy entire folder back to original location and all the files will appear again in Virus Chest.

The problem would be the contents of the Chest are protected and without avast running having the contents of the <avast_folder>\DATA\Chest wouldn’t help much so you would need avast to restore them.

If you were going to reinstall avast then the backup as RejZoR said would be fine.
