Would not know what that would be but as seen to what damage it could do to your computer, I would say a dangerous file infector like “virut”, as what goes under the anti-malware radar I would say certain bots and root-kit installs. But never underestimate the malcreants they will develop new malcreations,

This has been a joke, now returning you to normal operation.
It’s hard to say which one is the worst. I guess it would be the brand new one that you get before anything can detect it.

I meant like malware or rootkit type of thing…that literally KILLS your computer 
Imo, it’s impossible to name one threat as the most dangerous.
It depend on so many factors…
Generally it is the person behind the keyboard, all viruses/malware are bad for your system and sometimes finances.
What is your definition of worst ? One that trashes the system or one that sits quietly in the background and steals your data

Speaking of which, apparently I heard from someone there is a virus called “cupcake” that makes your computer electrocute you, or something…to be honest, I don’t believe that rumour myself…but I heard from my friend is true. ???

the malware of today is all about money…
spam…
steal your passwords…
trick you to buy something…
fake AV that you need to pay to remove the fake infections…
Ransom…you must pay to remove the ecryption of your disk…
anything you can think of…
I know, but my friend says it’s true… sigh. People these days.
Also, yes, malware is today ONLY for money and to make you worry…especially the fake, rogue software that makes you buy their scam, really bad product/s…the rise of these “rogues” have drastically increased this year. Even Macs are not safe, with the fake MacGuard!!!
So, tell your friend he/she is wrong.
A virus which can literally cause problems to your real life
Macs now have there first bootkit type malware (whistler variant)
