What is VirtualBox?

What is VirtualBox? How do I delete stuff that’s in this VirtualBox folder? I get the message that I have to have permission of SYSTEM, but I AM the Administrator…

I had a suspicious encounter and shut down my computer to stop it, and then had AVAST do a scan and it found what appeared to be two files. I asked AVAST to put it in the “box.” Now I can’t delete the stuff in the VirtualBox folder which has nested identical files in “ng” subdirectories that take up almost 2GB.

Anyone have an idea what’s going on here?

User account with administrator rights is not the same as the real administrator.
The NG component is a rather new thing in avast for systems that are able to run hardware virtualization.
At each boot the needed things are newly created (to my understanding).
Ofcourse you can’t just delete things from it since avast is protecting them.

Thanks… I’ll try to figure this out.
