I typically use Avast Premier combined with Malwarebytes Free.
The short answer you shouldn’t need any other ‘antivirus’ in fact we discourage the use of multiple AVs at they can conflict unless that secondary AV is on-demand only.
Anti Malware is generally OK, and Malwarebytes Free is usually fine, but you may need to exclude their folders.
I used to use MBAM Pro, I even have a lifetime license, but from MBAM version 3 (which was seriously bloated) I stopped using it completely.
Sorry, i meant to say antimalware there.
No problem.
The word Malware covers evrything. All virus are malware but all malware is not virus
Malware = malicious software = anything that can harm your computer, Virus / Trojan / worm / ransomware / rotkits …
Hi Armel_08,
I use CCleaner and adw. cleaner on demand + cookienator every week together with Voodooshield constantly.
In-browser protection extensions are:
VT4Browsers, & Recx security analyzer & uMatrix & uOrigin & Decentraleyes & Web Developer & Tracker SSL & Retire.JS & Shodan.
Giving me a solid fingerprint unless I browse with Chameleon.
Searching with DuckDuckGo, QWant and X Intelligence. I am a user of Malzilla browser for analyses.
Google only when we cannot avoid it and because of the vast resources, while fond of Google Safebrowsing,
a perfect initiative like VirusTotal.
