Yes, proof positive that avast is one of the few av’s that does very little to slow down a computer … as opposed to those we all at this forum know are resource hogs.
Unfortunately the test results are flawed because he is running it in a VM and without taking into account the Windows XP Prefetcher which is self tuning. You cannot accurately judge boot times running something in a VM. Not to mention simply rebooting two more times will give different results due to the Prefetcher self optimizing.
you can always write him to disable prefetch
… anyway i got that enabled for obvious reason
